dosen’t theat coat … dosen’t theat coat hanger get bent when you put it in you pack? i mean thats a good 3 inches of extra weight and wire to get bent.
Neat and tidy … Neat and tidy kettle, good mod’s. I recognised that a coat-hanger was providing the handle, those wire cheap-o hangers get up to all sorts of uses and applications not just a replacement car radio AE !. 5X5 let’s hear it for the humble cheep wire hanger !! : =))
Thanks for the mods … Thanks for the mods. I have one of these and the orange coating melted mostly off tonight. A piece had fell and melted to the kettle. After it cooled it scraped off easily. So now I’m going to bend out the wire holders and put a bigger piece on it as you did. This is and awesome piece of kit and these mods will only make it better. Thanks

Then you know the … Then you know the handle is not much of an issue. The kettle goes into the pack on its side, the handle laying flat to the wall of the inside, well out of the way.

Weight? the hanger …
Weight? the hanger wire is lighter than the original handle. Also the handle folds flat on the wall inside the pack.
