I left a teakettle on way too long and I ruined it but also there seem to be grease or burnt marks around my burner.
Turn it on high and let it burn off!!!!
It kind of smells in the kitchen and surrounding rooms, even up to the attic, where i sleep. Im worried that I might be selling gas, but i’ve never smelled it before and can’t be sure.
It could also be the burning smell of the teakettle which was on the burner… I just want to know i’m safe. What if im breathing in carbon monoxide as I type this?
It will more than likely just cause A leak in your wallet when you pay the gas bill

A 0.400 kg aluminum teakettle contains 2.00 kg of water at 22.0°C. How much heat is required to raise the temperature of the water (and kettle) to 100.0°C?
[ ] kcal
one calory is worth 1 C raise in temperature for one gram of water. to raise 2,000 grams of water 78 degrees, it would take 156,000 calories, which is a measurement of heat
So yeah I finish up with the evil teakettles of death and proceed on to battling heatman and getting sweet revenge for making us go through the annoying task of boiling up all that tea. It would’ve helped alot if i had more fire chips in my folder when fighting the teakettles but meh *.*

There is some kind of saying about painting tea kettles black or something like that. What is the actual saying and what does it mean?
"Pot calling the kettle black"
As in "How can you say that when you’re worse?"

I found a red enamel teakettle by Le Creuset at a discount store (50% off!), so there was no box and no instructions for care included.
Thanks for your help!
Hand wash in hot, soapy water.
The enameled surface can chip or crack if dropped or banged against a hard surface.
Empty the kettle of water between uses to prevent the buildup of mineral deposits.
Do not fill the kettle above the spout opening inside.
Be sure the handle is in the locked position during use.
Never heat the kettle empty or allow it to boil dry.
